Automotive Lifts

Easier Access

For Increased Workspace

Automotive lifts are essential equipment for the repair and maintenance of vehicles of all sizes, and the need for functional and well-equipped maintenance facilities continues to grow.

When deciding which automotive lifts are the best fit for your facility, it’s important to consider several factors such as weight capacity, vehicle type, available space, lift speed, load capacity, and lift height. Understanding these variables will help you choose the right lift for your needs to work safely and efficiently.

Weight capacity is typically measured in tons or pounds, and it’s important to match it to the type of vehicles it’s designed to lift. Consider the available space and include ceiling height and floor space. Lift speed is critical for shops with high repair volumes. The load capacity is determined by the strength of the lift and the number of columns it supports. Lastly, lift height is important if you spend more time working on the car’s underbody, so choose a lift that can accommodate the height needed.

Automotive lifts come in various styles, including two-post, four-post, and mobile column lifts.

  • Two-post automotive lifts: Well-known for their reliability and versatility. They offer different designs, such as clear floor and asymmetric models, to accommodate various vehicle types and ceiling heights. The weight capacities for two-post lifts range from 7,000 to 18,000 pounds, depending on whether they are symmetrical or asymmetrical. Symmetrical lifts provide excellent drive-through clearance and are best suited for trucks and commercial vehicles, supporting weights from 10,000 to 18,000 pounds. Asymmetrical two-post lifts offer unobstructed access to vehicle interiors, making them a better choice for passenger vehicles, with weight capacities ranging from 7,000 to 10,000 pounds
  • Four-post automotive lifts: Designed to provide unrestricted under-vehicle access and come with standard safety features. They are available in several configurations, including row, wide, and extended lengths, to accommodate different vehicles. Due to their versatility and standard options, these lifts have weight capacities ranging from 7,000 to 90,000 pounds, depending on the manufacturer
  • Mobile column lifts: Useful for shops with limited space, as they can be easily moved and stored. This type of automotive lift is known for its rapid lifting and lowering capabilities, safety features, and portability. They are primarily used for lifting heavy-duty vehicles and are available in different capacities, ranging from 14,000 to 40,000 pounds per column
