Dedicated Control Room

The Customer

Chemical Manufacturer for the Textile Industry

The Challenge

The need for a dedicated control room was expressed as it is essential for effectively managing a specific closed process. Given the limited space, all materials required for the job had to be transported by hand, without relying on additional equipment. Furthermore, the customer pointed out that their operation could not afford any downtime, so we ensured the installation was carried out seamlessly during regular working hours. This approach maximized efficiency and met the customer’s urgent needs.

The Solution

The Atlantic Installation team concluded that the best approach would be to add to the existing control room by building a 2-foot high structural steel platform. This platform will support a new in-plant office that measures 16’4” Lx9’4” Wx8’8” H. The addition will connect the two spaces, creating a larger usable area. To complete this installation the team :

  • Constructed and anchored the structural steel platform
  • Connected their HVAC system from the existing control room
  • Installed wall panels to encapsulate the platform
  • Made custom cut-outs to feed the HVAC system to connect the two roomsIn-Plant OfficeIn-Plant Office
