Defining the customer’s dedicated areas for ground pallet storage on items too large to fit in pallet racks and items requiring cross docking.

Our customer operates a 435,000-square-foot facility that receives a large volume of containers daily, with many of these commodities being shipped out as soon as they arrive. To effectively organize and create a dedicated space for these larger items, we implemented 25,000 linear feet of line striping using high-visibility paint. This ensures safety and compliance with designated storage areas.

Line striping is particularly crucial in warehouses because it serves as a navigation guide for workers and clearly defines where items should be stored. By increasing safety protocols, line striping facilitates an efficient workflow and streamlines movement, ultimately maximizing employee productivity by reducing the time spent searching for items or getting lost. While the primary purpose of this project was functional, the line striping also enhanced the visual appeal of the warehouse, contributing to its overall professional appearance. Additionally, it provides visual cues that communicate safety information and organizational guidelines, making it easier for employees to understand and adhere to protocols.

Although this installation was not typical for our team, we were committed to ensuring the job was completed to our high standards and that our customers were fully satisfied.
